The will of William King, of Sutton, gentleman, was dated 8 November 1743 and proved on 21 November 1743 in Worcester. He mentioned his wife Rebecca, and his children, Henry King (executor), Lydia Singletary, Hannah Jones, and the two daughters of his deceased daughter Mehitabel, late wife of Benjamin Marsh Jr., of Sutton. His inventory was taken on 29 November 1743 in Sutton.[2]
In 1745, an account of his estate by Henry King was recorded which included debts received, debts paid, funeral charges, provisions for the widow, and administration fees.[3]
