Elizabeth was born in 1808. She was the daughter of John Kimple, Sr. and Mary Elizabeth (Everet) Kimple.
She was the second wife of Alexander J. Gray.
They gave birth to five (5) children.
Alexander had previously married Elizabeth's older sister Rachel with whom he fathered two (2) children.
Elizabeth passed away in 1869. Her burial details are presently under investigation.
A document, date 17 August 1869, names Simeon Gray as a "Legatee" in the Surrogate's Court in Tompkins County, New York, USA. Simeon Gray was the son of Elizabeth's older sister, Rachel.
The "Last Will and Testament of Eliza Ann Gray, late of Barta, Wellen, Canada West, Pages 1-3," suggests that Eliza may have been in Canada at the time of her death on 25 Mar 1869.
The document goes on to state that an "Instrument" dated 3 February 1869, was presented to the Court which was purported to be the Last Will and Testament of Eliza A. Gray.
WIlliam Kimple was named "Executor" of the will. He was Elizabeth's oldest brother.
