Biography

Carrol was born at the Spencer Hospital, Meadville, Crawford, Pennsylvania, United States in 1937. She is one of four children born to Charles Hiram Kimple and Regina Pauline (Lasko) Kimple.

Carrol earned her Bachelor of Science in Education degree and Master of Science in Education degree while studying at the Edinboro State College, (now Pennsylvania Western University), in Edinboro, Erie County, Pennsylvania, USA. Carrol was a "Reading Specialist" whose 26-year career in the education profession was spent teaching in the Crawford Central School District.

Carrol first married Clifford Elroy Turner on 9 Jul 1955 in St. Peters Roman Catholic Church on Washington Street, Conneautville, Crawford, Pennsylvania, United States.

They gave birth to three (3) children.

1. Debra Jo (Turner) Lee, born 1955, married Douglas Michael Lee.
2. Douglas Edward Turner, born 1960, married Deborah Lynne Woods.
3. David Richard Turner, born 1960, married Theresa Marie Dangel.
