Biography

Sylvester was born in 1837. He was the son of Alexander J. Gray and Elizabeth Ann "Eliza" (Kimple) Gray.

He married Miranda C. "Manda" Clark (1839-1917) in about 1859 or 1860.

They gave birth to one (1) child.

  1. Edwin Arthur Gray (1862-1931)

Sylvester died an untimely death at the age of 24 in 1861, before the birth of his only son Edwin.

His estate was probated on 18 January 1861 under the administration of his wife Miranda and half-brother Simeon Gray.

Sylvester's burial place and date are presently under investigation.
