Biography

Susan Householder was born on 22 Apr 1819 in Loudoun County, Virginia, the daughter of Adam Householder and Sarah Janney. ^[1]

She married Washington Osborn on 12 Oct 1840 in Clark County, Ohio. ^[2]

In 1870 they were living in South Vienna, Harmony Township, Clark, Ohio. ^[3]

In 1880 they were living in Springfield, Clark, Ohio with 6 year old Harry H Osborn who was listed in the census as their son. Since Susan would have been 56 years old at the time of his birth he was likely their adopted son or other family member. ^[4]

In 1900 she was living in Springfield, Clark, Ohio. She was living with several other women and a matron. The name of the facility isn't visible on the census sheet. She was 81 years old and most of the others were elderly, so maybe it was some type of care home. She was shown as being the mother of one child, who was not still living. ^[5]

She died on 3 Jan 1910 in Springfield, Clark, Ohio ^[6] and was buried at Plattsburg Cemetery in Plattsburg, Clark, Ohio. ^[7]
