Biography

Augustin Dubreuil was born on 24 Jun 1758 in Saint-Charles-sur-Richelieu, Le Bas-Richelieu, Quebec, Canada, son of André Dubreuil and Marie Anne Maguet.[1]

He married Marie Josephe COURTEMANCHE, his second cousin, on Feb 3, 1783, at St-Denis-Sur Richelieu. [2]They shared great grandparents, Antoine Courtemanche dit Jolicoeur and Marie Marguerite Vaudry. Together, he and Marie Josephe Courtemanche had the following known children:

  2. Augustin Andre Marie Dubreuil, b. 1785 d. 1787
  3. Louis Dubreuil, b. 1786, d. 1834
  4. Marie Josephe Dubreuil, b. 1791 d. 1836

  6. Rosalie Dubreuil, b. 1795
  7. Augustin Dubreuil, b. 1797 d. 1866
  8. Marie Marguerite Dubreuil, b. 1798
  9. Marie Dubreuil b. 1800 d. 1801
  10. Marie Angelique Dubreuil, b. 1803 d. 1833


Augustin died on 9 Apr 1817 in Saint-Charles-sur-Richelieu aged 58.
