Some of you may wonder why I have several names listed after my first name, Annie. Here was my dilemma. I was adopted and found my biological family (parents - who were never married, and half-sibs - all adopted out on my bio father's side) when I was 30yrs old. I made the choice here for my genealogical endeavors and true blood lines to use the names I am actually related to by DNA - and have come to love. I hope this doesn't confuse people who try to prove who I am with a birth certificate at some point because I have a few with a few different names on them!
My bio father’s last name was Widdows and my mom’s surname was Hogan. I’m really hitting a brick wall with my Hogan line in Malden, MA with John Hogan and Ellen Flynn. They lived at 16 Warren Ave from 1870-1897 and were born sometime in the 1820’s. I cannot figure out when they came to Boston, when they married for sure, and where in Ireland they came from. HELP!? Maybe someone has access to the Malden News for their obits? I cannot find any obits for them in any Boston papers.
