Biography

Augustin André Marie Dubreuil was born on January 22, 1785 in Beloeil, Montreal, Canada East, son of Augustin Dubreuil and Marie Josephte Courtemanche.[1][2]

He married Marie Jeanne Anne Fleurant (daughter of Sebastien Fleurant & Marie Millet Sanschagrin) on 1 July 1811 at St-Charles-sur-Richelieu.[3][2] Together, they had the following (known) children[4]:

After the death of his first wife, he remarried, to Marguerite Gaudet (daughter of Jean Baptiste Gaudet and Marguerite Benoit) on September 22, 1829, at La Presentation (St-Hyacinthe). [2] [5]

Research notes

His parents had a child named Augustin who died at the age of two in 1787. It is unclear if this is perhaps a situation where PRDH is inaccurate.
