Marriage: She was married to Mr. Baker in 1965. (He is potentially still living, so will not be referred to in detail here.)[5][3] They were the parents of at least two children. They were divorced in 1976.[6]
Education: She attended Fort Stockton (Texas) High School where she, "...was a member of National Honor Society, Student Council, was chosen most representative girl. was recipient of the American Legion Citizenship Award and was salutatorian of her graduating class." She attended Texas Western College, Snyder, Texas. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in religion from Southwestern University, Georgetown, Texas. While in college she, "...was president of the Independents Association, vice president of the Student Christian Association, a member of Kappa Chi Fellowship and a staff member on the college newspaper...She [did] graduate work at George Williams College, Chicago, while serving as program director of the Southeast Branch of the Dallas YMCA."[5][3]
In 1997, she was mentioned as "Nancy Baker of Austin, Texas," one of the surviving children in the biography of her mother, Georgiann Grimes Armistead.[7]
Death: Nancy Ann (Armistead) Baker passed away on 14 Jun 2003. Her last place of residence was in Boulder City, Clarke County, Nevada.[2]
