Biography

Mabin Willard Armistead was born on 15 January 1933 in Fort Stockton, Pecos County, Texas, United States.[1] He was the son of Mabin Willard Armistead (abt.1890-1974) and Georgiann (Grimes) Armistead (1905-1997).[2]

He was a United States Army Veteran, serving from 1954-1956.[1][3]

He and Gwendoline Audrey Motterham were married on 16 Mar 1957 in the First Methodist Church of Fort Stockton, Pecos County, Texas.[4] They were the parents of at least one child.[1]

In 1997, he was mentioned as one of the surviving children in the biography of his mother, Georgiann Grimes Armistead.[5]

He worked for the Texas Department of Highways and Public Transportation for 26 years as an engineering technician.[1]

Mabin Willard Armistead passed away on 25 February 1984 in Ector County, Texas. He was 51 years old.[6][7] He was buried in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Odessa, Ector County, Texas.[1][8]
