Help fleshing out Andrew Davey's life?

Question

Hello everybody,

First off, I hope all of you are doing well wherever and whenever you are at the moment.

I was wondering if anybody would be willing/able to help tie up some loose ends on my great-grand uncle, Andrew Davey (attached below). He has several inconsistencies in his information but the most pressing issues for me are how he got to be in prison in 1940 and his marital status since he was divorced twice but listed as never married by his brother who informed the examiner of his life before death. Also, in question is whether or not, he was exempt from or involved in any wars occuring at the time.

Don't overlook the value of the records available on Family Search (www.familysearch.org).  I've found scads of information on the Davey family just by typing their names into the search engine available there.  (and all with photos of the documents.)
