I have a Samuel (IV) Baldwin b abt. 1706 1n Newark, Essex, New Jersey. He married Elizabeth Jones-50953. They had a daughter daughter Elizabeth Baldwin-6944 who married Boyce John II Pruden. Samuel (IV) Baldwin was the son of Samuel (III) Baldwin b14 Mar 1674, son of John (III) Baldwin b abt, 1640 Milford, New Haven, Connecticut, son of John Baldwin Jr, b 24 Jun 1619 in Wendover, Buckinghamshire, England.

I'd like to see how well these people line up with Sources.

Be very careful here because people usually confuse those particular Baldwins and it would be easy to go down the wrong track. There are some with the same name that are typically conflated, generations skipped etc. Typical errors. This is not something that can be completed in a day. There's a couple of early colonial adult males who don't have much paper behind them. (Obviously I'm a Baldwin descendant.)

Yes, I know what you mean. It'd be nice to just ignore the Baldwins, but I'd like to see if the US Presidents I don't have a connection with yet might have a connection through the Baldwins.  At any rate, Lucy Pruden, was the daughter of Boyse or Boys John Pruden and I descend from her.
