Yes, If you have appropriate sources for the extra information you want to add then it would be good if you could help to further develop the profile. Would you like to join Wikitree so that you can work on it?

You certainly can, however you must register with WIkiTree to add to profiles.  First you register as a Guest Member, then you opt to Volunteer and agree to the Honor Code.

Once your account is confirmed, you can add to/ edit profiles that are open or public.  John is an open profile. And you can add profiles yourself.

Some profiles have stricter privacy levels, so you would need to as the Profile Manager to be added to the Trusted List for that individual.
