Private messages

Question

Anyone getting unusual private messages? I received a really strange one today, and the syntex was such that it doesn't seem to be from someone who's primary language is English. There was one email address used to send message and a reply was to be sent to a different email address.

I did too - and forwarded it to info@wikitree.com

Saying my profile was really interesting, etc.

Please don't email them back!

Those messages are spam. The sender has been removed from WikiTree and you should not be receiving any more. Please DO NOT RESPOND to any such messages.

I'm a computer savvy person and would not respond to anything like this, not to worry. I just wanted to alert whoever needed t know that we've been found by trolls.
