project leaders

guidance required as i recently done a post with regards to michigan and someone suggested become a leader of project member michigan but was wondering how to go about it as there seems to be a problem when you click on the badge

If I remember correctly from the other projects I have joined then the badge is assigned to you by a project manager after you have applied to join the project. I don't remember having to click on a member badge.

It is not necessary that you be related to someone who lived in the state of Michigan or live there yourself to join. Anyone with an interest is welcome! If you would like to participate, please do the following:

1. Answer our G2G post and we'll award you the US History Project badge.
2. Add us_history and Michigan to your list of followed tags. That way you'll see all of our discussions in your G2G Feed.
3. Please see our list of goals for a basic overview for ways you can help.
4. Add the project template to any relevant Michigan profiles.

i have just tried adding the tag for it and it hasnt saved i even tried to delete some now i only have 4 tags

ive had to tag it as michigan not sure if correct but only way i could do it

It looks like Michigan is a sub-project out of the US History Tag. You may have to join the US History first. It also needs a leader. Sorry this is the first time I ran across this. Don't get discouraged WikiTree has several people that are willing to help.
