A thank you from Unknown Member no WT id

I have a thank you from, no WT ID number?

Is there a way to know who they are, the thank you was for improvements to the profile of a first cousin once removed.

I'm hoping the person who thanked me is also family.  The WT ID below is for the profile I manage and edited.

I don't think it is right to openly publish anyone's IP#, as it can be a serious breach of privacy.
Please remove it.
Will do, I didn't know it was an IP address.

Thanks, M.  yes

That happens when someone is not logged in to WikiTree. Unfortunately, there is no way to know who it was. Hopefully, next time they will be logged in so that you will know who appreciated your work.smiley

Thanks Laura, this must mean that a person can thank a WT member even if they are not logged in?

Seems a little odd, it's okay, there are many tech related things I don't know about or understand.
Same way those not logged in can send private messages, or view change logs, and contribution lists.
Thanks Melanie, more things I did not know!
