Susan and Thomas French immigration to the New World? Winthrop or NOT?

Susanna Riddlesdale French is this week's collaborative profile and I've just run into a quandary (a mis-aligning of dates.)

If Thomas French and Susan Riddlesdale went to America in the Winthrop Fleet 1630, as has been suggested, did they leave their 10 year old daughter Margaret (b1620) in England where she was buried 1635?

Doesn't it make more sense that the parents came later, between Margaret's death in 1635 and Thomas' death in 1639?

Are there any records of the couple being here before 1635? I know their son Thomas was here in 1630 and some of the daughters came earlier.

I have only found  Susan and Thomas, 1637, ship unknown.  Winthrop Society doesn't have them on a ship that I can find.  I think the source is copied from http://www.geni.com/projects/Great-Migration-Passengers-of-the-Arbella-1630/5754 or http://www.packrat-pro.com/ships/winthrop.htm

On the Winthrop Society website: http://winthropsociety.com/settlers.php

it lists  French (surname only) as found by Col. Charles E. Banks, published 1930, but doesn't provide further information.  I am guessing that might have been the original source for those websites.

I haven't seen his publication, will try to locate it.

Hmm... Anderson doesn't show them as emigrating before 1636 at the earliest, and Chris found "1637, ship unknown." That would suggest that they were still in England when daughter Margaret died.

According to Anderson, in The Great Migration Begins, their son  Thomas French and daughter Alice French arrived in New England by 1632, their younger sisters Dorcas and Susan arrived in 1633, and the parents Thomas French and Susan Riddlesdale did not emigrate until some time after 1633.

Apparently Anderson didn't find the parents among the emigrants of 1634-1635, as he didn't include them in The Great Migration.
