William Wilson was born approximately 1825 in Banff Scotland .He was in the 99th and the 12th regiments and came to Tasmania as a guard at Port Arthur. He became a policeman at Bothwell where he married Sarah Ann Dalwood in 1861. They had4 sons and 1 daughter. They moved to Hobart where William died in 1903. We are trying to find Williams date of birth and family in Scotland. He was our g g grandfather.
