I am looking for my ancestor Johnson Goodale or Johnson G Goodale. Both are listed in Wikitree but I'm certain they are the same person as both died in 1802 in what is now Hamilton Ontario Canada. He came to Canada in 1794 with a group of families from what is now New York State. I believe he was the second husband of Elizabeth Cooley (possibly Persall was first), Goodale, Mannen. There are records online that show the land petitions. He was born in 1760 or 1770 - I believe - somewhere in the eastern US just not in Canada..
