Hi Wikitreers,

We need collaboration in finding the genealogy behind the post card.

I have in my collection a post card date abt. 1910 but I think earlier.

Titled “Hearty Good Wishes for a happy New Year”

To: Miss Sarah L. Mead

Address: East Hampton, Conn

1.) Who was Miss Sarah L. Mead who lived in East Hampton, Conn during 1900-1910 era.

2.) Is there a 1900/1910 census of her living in this town?

3.) Did Miss Sarah L. Mead ever marry?

4.) Who sent her the Holiday card so many years ago with a postage date of December 31st

5.) Clue in front has a name “Edith”

6.) What was the post date year?

Any collaboration is appreciated

Thank you laugh

Do you have a Family Search account? They have a Sarah L Mead that seems like it could be her.

It seems very likely if it is her then it’s one of the oldest births of any of the vintage postcards I have in collection

FindAGrave

Many from nyc visited east hampton for vacation it was the spot then

Edit: I do believe it’s her as her sibling George is buried in East Hampton. The Mead family of this town and era

Thank you
