Bio Check generates message "Inline <ref> tag with no ending </ref> tag" incorrectly in certain cases (pun intended)

if an inline citation is created where the <ref> in all lower case is then followed by an ending </ref> that has one or more uppercase characters, then BIO CHECK will flag it as unmatched ref tags.

e.g. <ref>...</reF>

However, if there is an uppercase letter in the first <ref> tag, then it will NOT generate an error.

e.g. <Ref>...</ReF>

Maybe its one of my settings?  The 870 question today reminded me to report this behavior.

Mike,

Does this also generate an 870 suggestion?
No, it only reminded me to report my correct-syntax--flagged-as-error bug.

Just another observation:

The enhanced editor also either highlights text between the tags or past the closing tag following the same conditions you have described. This would at least alert an editor to make a change to fix it.

So the original bug has been corrected it would seem, it does NOT generate an error message today.

HOWEVER, Enhanced Editor does exhibit similar behavior, the ending tag shows up in RED below:

Bad text<Ref>Bad ref</reF>

But before I could post this, this seems to have been fixed as well.
