Question about Bio Check App

I ran a report using the Bio Check app with the following...

My Watchlist, 7500 profiles, Detailed Report, Reliable Sources Required, Report style details, Report all profiles.

If all of the profiles are sourced, marked and have no style issues, is there anything else I need to check on the app?

Thanks,

Sheila

Wow that's fantastic. By using the "Reliable Sources Required" you are saying to apply the rules for Pre-1700 profiles to all profiles.

So you can look at the profiles to see what ones are marked unsourced that you might want to improve.

You can use BioCheck to find all sorts of things to improve. If you select How to find profiles to Check Profile you can enter any profile ID (such as your own) and check ancestors for N generations.

And you can use BioCheck to check anything you can find using a WikiTree+ text/search.

Some of the options described in the help (here https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:BioCheckHelp) might give you more ideas.

The app is an endless finder of rabbit holes....

Thanks for the best answer.

Also, if you report all profiles, you can then see the count of inline references (e.g., the <ref>).
The 'maybe / ?' are the interesting ones because the app can't always tell whether something that is included is really a source or not.  Many of those will not be an actual source, so those are the real 'rabbit holes'

You may find a smaller group to work with if you don't report  ALL profiles.  Then you can sort on a column header and work on that group of profiles, such as Styling which may just be moving the stickers and categories below or above the Biography header.  You could sort to get all the 'Unsourced' profiles which are those that are 'marked' with the Unsourced template / Category or sort to get all the 'Maybe'  ones together to work on those.

You can always export the results so you have a spreadsheet to work on instead of having to run the app to get the profiles, also.

Thanks for all the info. I think I will play around with it some more cause it sounds like it will do a lot more than I know.
