Hey Kay,
Thanks for the update. BioCheck just keeps getting better and better.
Question for you. Some nights I come home from work a bit fatigued and like to do some lighter work. Yanno, stuff that doesn't require as much brainpower as de-conflating family groups or providing rationale for merges.
One of those activities is digging up the really old and crusty unsourced profiles that nobody's touched in years. (A real gem is a lengthy GEDCOM with 7 views in 12 years.) Depending on the feeling of that night, I'll either source them myself or pop them into the categories for Sourcers (myself included) to have a go at later. Often once we get them sourced and cleaned up we realize there's a duplicate somewhere in the chain of relationships, so we end up merging and growing the interconnectivity of the tree.
I've tried locating some of these unsourced profiles with varying BioCheck search criteria and assorted report styles against random profile #s, each with varying degrees of success but none that consistently find a majority of unsourced profiles as results. I worry that repeated queries will find me more of them, but put undue load on the servers.
Do you have any tips or tricks, or even a recommendation for a different tool entirely, for finding these ones easier?
Jeff
