I am ALSO looking for his parents. He is my great great great grandfather.
I have his name as Isaac Perry Beauchamp, born May 18, 1816 in Kentucky. Died Sept 21, 1896; buried in Seneca, Missouri. He was married to Salina (born Lashbrook) Beauchamp. She was born 1824 in Daviess County Kentucky. I was able to trace her back to England.
The middle name "Perry" was used as a middle name in several later generations. One son was named "Commodore Perry Beauchamp" so that historic figure is likely the source of the "Perry" usage.
One census record lists him as "Issaac" Beauchamp with two "s's". One entry lists him as I.P. Beauchamp.
He was the father of Coston Darwin Beauchamp SR.1848 - 1925 (my great great grandfather) (Coston was also used extensively in later generations as a middle name, spelled in a variety of ways: Costin, Caustin, Castin, etc.)
His son William Perry Beauchamp, (my great grandfather) born Feb 10,1881 in Miami, Ottawa County, Indian Territory (later Oklahoma); died Sept 1975 in Las Animas Colorado.
His son is William Coston Beauchamp (my grandfather) whose son was William Kane Beauchamp (my father).
There were a large number of Beauchamp family members in Daviess County Kentucky, and previously in Delaware and Maryland. One of them has to be the father of Isaac, but I can't tell which one. Also, Isaac was a common first name, including among the Beauchamp family.
I don't think this branch went back to Canada, although there are many French Canadian Beauchamps in Canada.
Let me know if you find anything else out!
