Help me understand this issue.  The Florida Suggestions report has 3 profiles that are flagged as too old (error 104).
>>> https://www.softdata.si/wt/Err_20231231/FL/104_1700-1799_0.htm

The issues were first marked as False (2017, 2021) because the profiles have sources. I think marked it as corrected, noting it had a source (17Dec2023).

Why are these issues not removed from the Suggestion list? Is something else expected?

1.  Is there a good video to watch for setting up Sourcer App so I can get a nice narrative with citations

2. Is there a good video to watch for setting up Sourcer App so I can get a nice Household Table (name, relationship, age, birth location,  occupation)

Alice,

Rob has a link to an intro video here https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:WikiTree_Sourcer but I am not sure that it will be what you want.

On Wikitree+, how do I search for a location that contain two words (eg if I want to find profiles with "West Sussex" in the location field)?

The search I am currently using:  (deathlocation="West Sussex") not only brings up genuine "West Sussex" profiles but also gives me profiles with a death occurring in eg West Firle, Sussex and West Chiltington, Sussex, which I am not interested in

Use this query:

deathlocation="West Sussex" sql="[Default].[Death Location].AsString like '*West Sussex*'"
Thanks Ales

The England Project does NOT prefer to use United Kingdom. Most of us don't even add the UK/United Kingdom even after 1801. People seem to choose whatever is first in the drop down menu without looking at the time frame if there is more than one suggestion. I have been the one going through the suggestions for birth, marriage and death location for the England Project and cleaning them up. I am removing the United Kingdom/UK in the location fields. Every week when I check the 3 suggestion lists there is about 400-500 profiles that I need to remove the United Kingdom/UK on. That is not counting how many need to be removed from the Scotland and Wales suggestion lists that I also check. Northern Ireland wasn't used until 1921 so the Northern needs to be removed before then. I know that we get the location drop down menu from Family Search and it would be really nice if some cleaning could be done on the list.

The WikiTree Browser Extension is able to manipulate the order of suggested locations. And since FS sets date for England, UK as 1801- it is the first in the list, while England is set as 1070-1801 and is pushed to the end of the list marked red.

If the project is against the use of United Kingdom, ask Ian to strip United Kingdom from all suggested locations.

I think also Brian is able to do that for all users. It was done for British North America. Probably he can do the same for United Kingdom, but it will take more time to implement it. Contact Jamie about this.

As far as I know the England Project is neither for nor against the use of United Kingdom for post-1801 locations, it leaves the choice up to individual members. The guidance just says "It is not a requirement to add Great Britain or United Kingdom after England in their respective time periods." I asked a question in another discussion that I thought might really belong here, or in the February Ask Aleš post when it appears.
