Thank you, thank you for restructuring the batch categorization on Wikitree+.  Love that it's at the top and doesn't open a new page.  :D  You're awesome!

Is there a way to get a project's top 25 profiles by views.  By project, I mean project-managed.

Hello Aleš,

I have 2 questions,

Q1. Is there somewhere a time-stamp for the data dump, if not can you provide one.

Q2.  I would like a listing of profiles for persons born in Cheshire, England during the 1820's - so from 1820 thru to 1829

so i am using the search string :-

country=England region=Cheshire Dates="B1820s"

which does not produce any profiles.

country=England region=Cheshire Dates="B1820"

- produces those born in 1820 - so is there a shortcut to produce those born in a particular decade?.

thanks, Allan

Hello Aleš,

Thank you for answering my questions, unfortunately the quality of the YouTube video is not such that i can read exactly what you are writing, can you copy here the answers,

this is the time stamp from the report URL

Unsourced_20231105/ENG/1_1500-1699_0.htm

what analoge time does that convert to?.

thanks, Allan
by Allan Entwistle G2G6 Mach 3 (38.0k points)

It converts to date written in YYYYMMDD format representing first 4 digits for year, next two for Month and the last two for day.

In your case

Unsourced_20231105/ENG/1_1500-1699_0.htm

the marked text represents the date and translates to 5 Nov 2023..

Hello Aleš,

It is the time stamp part that i am interested in :- '1_1500-1699_0'

i need to know what time of day (UTC) the data is transferred from WikiTree to your server in order to make sense of the unsourced reports during a 'thon' which take part over a weekend.

I don't report time, since the data transfer process is a long process. The export queries on wikitree servers run for almost 12 hours and same changes during that period are already exported and some are not.

in number 1_1500-1699_0 there are 3 parts. first number is the report ID, 2nd and 3rd are the date range of the report and the last number is the page sequence in the report. Report contain 1000 profiles per page.

Aleš, when I run a search like https://plus.wikitree.com/function/WTWebProfileSearch/Profiles.htm?Query=unconnected+notables+5stars I get a bunch of hits, but they don't seem to be sorted in any way that I can understand. Clearly, they're not sorted by last name, birthdate, branch size, or number of hits on the page. Is there a syntax to force a particular sort on search like that? (I'd like to be able to sort by branch size, since Connectors are more likely to want to work on larger branches, but then again, listing the profiles with the largest number of hits might get them connected faster, which would make WikiTree "stickier".)

Profiles default sort order is creation date. You can change that on the left to Last name, birth date, location,... but not the unconnected tree size.

However you can select grouping to display results based on the tree size. Below the table there is a Group field: and select Connected from the list and click Show button.

It will return this page

https://plus.wikitree.com/function/WTWebProfileGroup/GroupBy.htm?Field=Connected&query=unconnected+notables+5stars

and it looks like this. Here you can see branches where multiple notables are on. Like branch "Unconnected: 86 pr. tree778256" has 3 notables on it. you can also sort the table by columns.

Grouping by field: Connected.

Hello Aleš, the sticker for Barbados was created earlier this year and I would like to track progress.

What search do I run to check how many profiles have the sticker?

by D Anonymous G2G6 Mach 5 (51.1k points)

On page https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Template:Barbados_Sticker you can click in grid on

Parameters usage stats: Parameter usage on profiles

And you will see the usage stats (including parameters) for the current week.

To find the profiles, you can search on WT+ for TemplateFull=Barbados_Sticker

thank you yes
