How to transfer profiles I manage to my brother-in-law

Hi

I created new profiles for my brother-in-laws family on my tree  but now I want to hand them over to him to manage. How do I do that?  He created a wikitree login for himself but how do I "transfer" all the profiles for his family ( approx. 12) I created under my login to him.

How do you set or change the manager? 

When you create a new profile you are set as the profile manager.

To add managers to an existing profile:

1. Click the Privacy tab on the profile.
2. In the "Add to Trusted List" section, enter a user's email address and press "ADD THIS PERSON."
3. In the "Trusted List" section, select the link for the desired user to "Add as Manager."

To remove managers from a profile:

• Select the link for a single user to "Remove as Manager," or
• Select the check boxes for multiple users and press "REMOVE SELECTED PEOPLE."

To change many profiles at once, use the Profile Manager Changes tool. You must be on a user's Trusted List to add/remove them from multiple profiles at once.

Instead of replacing I added him as a profile manger for his own family profiles. Shouldn't he now be able to see all the profiles for his branch of the tree? Because when he logs in and clicks on the drop down menu called "my wikitree" and selects "family tree" it's blank.

BTW, I'm posting this message under his profile so thats why the name is different.

He doesn't seem to be actually connected to them, i.e. he doesn't have a father or mother attached so there's no connection to the tree. He should be able to see the profiles in his watch list, down near the bottom of the drop-down list.

Once he connected the existing profiles for his mother and father that I created for him he was able to see his entire family's tree. Thanks

From your own profile, you can add your brother-in-law to all profiles in your Watchlist by using the help on this page: Trusted List Changes.  You shouldn't make the changes from his profile since he isn't connected.
