Can someone translate this for me: German to English - Oberhome

My great great grandfather's obit states he was born in Oberhome Hesse Cassel Germany.  But I have not been able to locate an Oberhome Germany.  It seems to mean an Airbnb now,  Yet I just found a marriage license that has the word Oberhome in it.  It would be great help to me if someone can translate this, especially the word Oberhome..

I think it's Oberhone, and this is probably the registry office: Wanfried.

Hey Chuck,

I added a translation and a link to his original birth record on his profile and changed the location to correct contemporary style. Hope you don't mind. His LNAB will have to be changed into Degenhardt, since the shortening only happend later on.

And apparently it looks like a hotel so that may be "local-speak" I think.
