Hi Wikitreers,

A fellow contributor was able to connect this veteran to his spouse and I followed up and to my surprise found he was a newspaper man per obit. “…He served, in Massachusetts and New York regiments the last two years of the civil war. He was long connected with the Chicago Times and other leading dailies; was city editor and editorial writer…”

Is there more to his story? He needs connecting any further collaboration on this very interesting veteran is appreciated.

He served in the Glorious 106th New York Infantry Regiment Company C

Thank you

Let’s get these veterans connected laugh
