I’m pleased to announce all soldiers from the original roster of Company I of the 105th Ohio Volunteer Infantry are created and their families researched.

So far Companies D, E, F, G, H and now I are completed.

Next up is Company K.  Message me if you would like to help.

Nice Job Cathryn smiley

I noticed how many died in the Battle of Perryville the battle that is said to have kept Kentucky in Union hands!

Edit: added all the cemetery categories to the company of vets. See comment on the free space page. Hope this helps

Thank you for this hard work!

To illustrate your point further, take a look at Kentucky, Tennessee and Georgia on the Final Resting Places of the 105th page.

Awesome job on adding Company I of the 105th Ohio!

I know how much work it takes to undertake this endeavor as I’m still working on the 106th New York for past few years.

Keep up the wonderful work yes

Wikitree is a growing place of collaboration and the Civil War project is a wonderful place to start laugh

Edit: I really like the layout how you have in particular the order of rank very nicely done

Wow!  What an awesome Free Space Page you've made.  What an accomplishment to have all the profiles for the Company completed.  Well Done!

I've been modeling the 103rd OVI free space pages after your 105th.

The profiles you've created are quite impressive as well.  I especially liked AF Brooks profile.  I've found a few last names (Knowles, Knowlton, Hulburt) in the 105th that match those of the 103rd.  Probably cousins.  Hopefully I'll be able to make a connection. Again, Great job!

It’s exciting to see that entire companies and regiments are being worked on and completed.  I’m enjoying your work on the 103rd!

Major Congrats to you Cathyrn!   Your 105th Project is a true inspiration on what we can do on WikiTree.

I look forward to every profile you complete because they are so rich with details about the soldier's life.

Cathryn, I have so much respect for your work as I'm working from the original muster roll for Company E, 11th Alabama, which was written with a feather quill (a flourish on capitals). I was feeling overwhelmed, but after reading your profiles, I'm keeping on because it is important work.

But, now I have go watch Wimbledon - quarterfinals with the big men. Hubba Hubba. laugh

That’s great, Jo!   These soldiers and their lives deserve to be remembered.
I started on a couple of smaller pages, Cypress Grove Cemetery 2, and Leighton Rangers.

Here's my latest space page: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:Company_E_%28Yancy_Rifles%29%2C_11th_Regiment%2C_Alabama_Volunteer_Infantry%2C_United_States_Civil_War

After getting this far I think I may need to break it up - that's a lot of info on a space page.
