Secret Santa

Question

Hi I recently sent a request on the secret Santa  to find the Father of John Carter -34497 who was William Carter circa 1662 and Married Jane Hollowell 1680's Somewhere in Northamptonshire England His Father was James Carter circa 1628 and married Anna Schofield around 1647 , also I beleive from Northamptonshire. I have tried everything possible and cannot proceed further until this issue is solved, My tree goes as far as 1550 , although very sketchy and is also unsourced [handed down to me from my Father]

I sent this request to the Secret Santa which has been Answered by myself ? with the question that I posted ? what's going on?
