In the top left record of this image .  What are the occupations of John James Cocker and Ada Ogden?  For John James, it looks like 'Self-Actor something' but I have no idea about the other.

Thanks.

Self-actor Minder. The other one beats me too.

Thanks, Jim.  I think you could be right.
What is a 'Self-Actor minder' though?

Could it be 'Musician' or 'Musical' or perhaps 'Mimer'
See the link I cited above. A self-actor minder was the same as or similar to a mule spinner. A mule spinner minded "a pair of spinning mules, arranged facing each other, i.e. spinning machines with intermittent action, which simultaneously draw and twist cotton, wool, etc. into yarn or thread, and wind it into cops." I think a self-actor was a machine along similar lines.

I think Ada could be a Weaver.

Thanks, Julie.  Looking at it again, I think you're right.  The 'W' looks like the 'W' in Werneth at the top (parish of Werneth); the 'e' looks like the 'e' in 'December.   The end looks a little like the 'er' in December.  'Weaver' seems to fit.
