Mendes-519 and Burke-10944 Jamaica

Question

Dear community,

I am searching for Elizabeth Staines Mendes and William Burke's parents in order to update their profiles.

In the case of Elizabeth, I have so far found that she was born in Jamaica in 1803, and died in 1890 in Kingston.

William Burke, on the other hand, was born in 1798 in Kingston and died in 1855.

They had ten children, among them was the renowned judge Samuel Constantine Burke.

I would appreciate any lead towards this information.

Yes Lynn, thanks! I have found info on the Jamaican family search page years ago.

Now, regarding the second link, it doesn't sound likely since this William Burke was a watchmaker born in 1798.
