Marie Angélique de Portas and Marie Pasquier de Franclieu both arrived together in 1667 as Filles du Roy.  Marie Pasquier married first, and both her and her new husband Charles Couillard are present at the marriage contract of Marie Angélique de Portas with Jean Lecomte.  There is no relationship stated on the contract as such. (source linked on profile)

However, Marie Pasquier  https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Pasquier-25 was born in Brie-Comte-Robert, and her mother's name is Marie de Portas.   https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/De_Portas-1

Marie Angélique de Portas' father, François de Portas, per notarial acts of Paris, was ''François De Portas, chevalier, seigneur de Burelle, gouverneur pour sa majesté de la ville de Brie-Comte-Robert''   https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Portas-13

ie he was governor of the same location in which Marie Pasquier was born, and bears the same last name as her mother.

Marie Angélique de Portas and her husband Jean Leconte left the colony the year after their marriage, so there are no records where either is godparent to children of the other couple that might show more data.  The only connecting documentation is that Charles Couillard and his family used Jean Lecomte as notary several times during his brief stint in the colony as notary (less than a year, then he left).

Marie Angélique and Jean are both basically unconnected to the rest of our tree, although connected to each other and their respective parents.

Is Marie  Angélique related to Marie Pasquier?  If so, this would get her connected.

Marie Angélique de Portas will show as connected when the system updates.  I was able to connect her through her maternal grandfather, Christophe de Chamoy.

great work Greg!  Curious to know if there is further connection via de Portas line.

One Geneanet tree that I've consulted for hints from time to time indicates that François de Portas, husband of Marthe de Chamoy, was the son of François de Portas and Marie de Heere.  This would have made the two filles du roi first cousins.

They certainly would have known each other.  Migrations.fr indicates that they arrived together and both signed the act of protestation in Dieppe in June 1667.

indeed, one is present with her husband at the other's marriage contract, although there is no mention of relationship.
