Help needed: German translation of marriage register

Would someone be able to help please with the translation of the German language (and script!) marriage register for Valentin Höh and Louisa Baur?

(I am hoping that there might be some clues as to Valentin Höh's origins/parents.)

This record may be related... (faint ink, hard to read. The death register entry for Valentin Höh, I believe.).

Thank you!

In the year 1708
1.) Valentin Höh and Louisa Baurin

Groom: born in Hersberg in the Leiningen area

Both unmarried and of catholic religion copulated; in compliance with the required specifications, the 11th of January.

The death record is really hard to read:

Verstorbene im Jahre 1798

Vallentin Höh

1)

Der hiesigen Gemeinde Vallentin Höh

von Kleinbuntenbach starb d 20tn Sept

Ein gebohrener Höh von Hersberg welchen

als Zeugen besehen daß er warhaftig gestorben

ist Peter Schneider von da ein wagner

und Philipp Fuhrmann ein Schmidt

A proof read would be good.

Deceased in 1798

Vallentin Höh
1)

Of the parish here Valentin Höh
of Kleinbuntenbach died 20 September
Born Höh in Hersberg [=Herschberg].
Witnesses who saw that he truly had died
are Peter Schneider of there, a wheelwright,
and Philipp Fuhrmann, a smith.
For the birth location there are 4 locations which are called Hersberg or harsberg. But I think it is Herschberg, because that belonged to Leiningen-Dagsburg until the end of the 18. century.

Today the municipality Herschberg is part of administrative municipality (Verbandsgemeinde) Thaleischweiler-Wallhalben, Landkreis Südwestpfalz, Rheinland-Pfalz.
