So in order to connect a few people to the world tree I made a profile for Jacob van Lennep. But he is not really my area of research and he was a very important person in Dutch culture, literature and also politics. That's why I would like to hand it over the the Dutch Roots Project so they can menage the profile. How do I make them profile manegers?

They have to want to be manager. Have you added sources to reflect why you think he should be managed by them?

He was both a politician and a writer. He was involved in many different projects and things. He has many streets named after him and is probibly one of the most famous Dutch writers. Here is his Wikipedia page if your interested: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jacob_van_Lennep?wprov=sfla1

The Wikipedia article should be included as a source on that profile. The biography of that profile uses 'she' but it looks like it should be using 'he' to refer to this person.

The profile could have the {{Notables Sticker}} added to it if he has a Wikipedia article.

Check out the Netherlands project which is used for Dutch Roots.  As they say on their project page, all profiles do not need to be project managed.

He might be a candidate for the Notables project.
I added the Notables Sticker to the profile, as he qualifies. However, for the most part, if a profile is Open privacy, then it's really not necessary to have a project manage it. There are over 43,000 Notable profiles and more hiding in the dark corners, so adding Notables as manager won't necessarily get any additional attention. My recommendation is that if you don't want to manage it, then orphan it and someone who is interested may come across it one day and adopt it and take it places you may not have considered. Or you can remain on the Trusted List but step down as manager if you like, so that you stay informed. But Notables will accept it if you want to add them as manager, if the only concern is that you feel there must be someone in that box.

Netherlands Project documentation says:

To all Dutch Pre-1811 profiles and PPP profiles the project account standard has to be added as co manager, so we can keep track of share and manage and work together on them very easy using the Project Googlegroup.

As Jacob was born 1802 applying this rule means his profile should be project managed.

Added Wikidata citation as prescribed here.

Hi Nick,

To add the Netherlands project as manager follow these instructions. When done you also have to replace the currently added Dutch Roots Sticker by the Dutch Roots projectbox (position it above the Biography heading).
