Are there archives of Swedish "kronobåtsmän"

Question

I'm working on Carl Wefling (later Carl Dahlberg) from Tryserum, trying to find something that can prove his birthplace and date.

He worked as kronobåtsman in Wittbråten, Tryserum.

Does anyone know where to find kronobåtsmän in some military rolls?

I don't think I have ever been able to find rolls for the båtsmen.

I saw some old discussions there about an earlier båtsman Wefling in Tryserum. Their source is "PLF1". Do you know what PLF1 is, Eva?

And, I did find rolls for båtsmen in Tjust, but much newer. If you ever need it:

You can find a lot of rolls in "Länsstyrelsen i Kalmar län. Landskontorets arkiv". I could only find him in the 1795 roll however:

Apart from the rolls, it also contains some other interesting records. This note says that he was discharged in 1800 for sickness:

Another place to look in is "Flottans arkiv", but I only saw his name there once:
