Looking for Parents of John Beaton Mckenzie b 1871 Ross.

Question

He lived in Durham had 3 sons with Gertrude Ellen Morris they moved to Kent 1901 census, and married in 1914. I have ordered marriage certificate. Can’t find Gertrude on 1901 census. Any help appreciated thank you. These potentially my grandparents on my mother side.
