Brickwalls on McKenzie and Northcott families

Question

My Grandfather, George Cecil McKenzie McKenzie-8223 may have been born about 1867 in Ladysmith, Colony of Natal. I need correction and confirmation of this information.

Thomas McKenzie McKenzie-8532, my Great-grandfather appears to have been born about 1840, but we don't have a confirmed Date and Location. From his marriage certificate, he was still in Scotland in 1864. Can we find any information on his immigration to South Africa as he died about 1883 in Port Elizabeth, Cape Colony

Any information, Birth, and Death would also be most welcome.

I would also check Scotland's People for the birth of George in case they registered his overseas birth in Scotland.
