Amelia A. (Kelley) Gibbs was born abt. 1850 in Vermont. The daughter of George and Abigail Kelley. She married civil war veteran James Walter Gibbs of the 60th New York. She was of the Baptist faith. She passed away May 18, 1920 in Malone, Franklin County, New York.

We need help with her maternal lineage. We need the mothers maiden name (possible she married her cousin and shares same LNAB). Also her exact marriage and birth date

Any help in her genealogy is appreciated.

Amelia's sister Eliza died in 1906. Her parents were listed as George Kelly and Abigail Melissa Smith. "Vermont Vital Records, 1760-1954", database with images, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:XF8P-2VK : 14 April 2020), Abigail Melissa Smith in entry for Eliza M. Kelly Wilson, 1906. I hope you don't mind I created a profile for you but left it as an orphan for you to adopt. Not sure if she was born in Vermont or New York but birthdate was around December 1829
