It appears he didn’t have a wiki? A very interesting veteran of the “Gibbs” genealogy. We would like to connect and source him with collaboration. A veteran of  the “War of 1812” who passed away in Wisconsin…let’s get this veteran connected laugh

Thank you

Note: need help adding to branch in his “War of 1812” sticker

Edit: a descendent of Giles Gibbs (abt. 1595 - 1641)

There are family trees at ancestry that reflect him as the son of Darius Gibbs (1759-1811) and Sibbel (Unknown) Gibbs (1761-1828). See, e.g., https://www.ancestry.com/family-tree/person/tree/64719258/person/46252472997/facts.

Do you see that the application index for his pension calls out that he participated in the Battles of Sackett's Harbor, Fort George and Williamsburg? And named his company as the company of Captain Howard and Captain Thomas Seymour of the 25 U.S. Infantry?

Looks like you did,

I’m curious if he has a book written about his life?
