Why merge added unsourced?

Good day,  Thank you for all your efforts, Today the computer added {{unsourced}}, to the Bio.. any idea how I can prevent this in the future? Thank you

It happened because at least one of the profiles in the merge was unsourced and had the category.  It can just be removed after the merge if the merged profile has sources.

Comments

It can be removed during the biography's text selection process of the merge, as well.  But you need to know to look for such things.

Unsourced template is now removed. Also a duplicate line about birth and death information.  When a merge is done, the system tries to put sources together, but a review is needed of both text area and the sources area to remove any duplicated information and to make sure that any templates are correct and not duplicated, also.
