Miles married Sarah Ann Jones, daughter of Richard Jones and Elizabeth Batte, about 1775 in Province of North Carolina, North America. Sarah was born in Amelin, Virginia. Miles and Sarah had the following children:

Miles died in Tryon County, North Carolina in 1789.[1] His will was written October 1, 1789 and proved January 1790.[2]
