Research Notes

My interest in this family, apart from a general interest in the DAW(E) families of Devon, is to try and prove that this John is the one baptized 1798 Whitchurch to Isaac and Sarah DAWE.

With records inconclusive, I'm pinning my hopes of finding sufficient evidence from DNA matches between descendants of John and Mary and those of Isaac and Sarah.

Love to hear from you if you are a descendant of either, but particularly if you have DNA tested and have uploaded your DNA file to GEDMatch. Henderson-2297 00:53, 22 March 2019 (UTC)

The extended Dawe family of Isaac and Sarah does have some DNA matches with descendants of Isaac Friend Dawe, from at least two lines. More would be good!
