Sarah Smith was baptised 23 Jan 1774 at Calstock, Cornwall, England. She was the daughter of Nathaniel Smith and Joan Smith nee Collings.[2] (Note Calstock in Cornwall is only 6 miles from Tavistock, Devon.)
Married
12 June 1796 at Tavistock, Devon, England preceded by Banns: Isaac Dawe of the Parish of Lamerton and Sarah Smith of this (Tavistock) Parish. Marriage in the presence of Nathaniel Smith and L K Hornbrook.[3]
Buried
18 February 1833 at Tavistock, Devon, England
Note there is some uncertainty about the parents of Sarah Smith being Nathaniel Smith and Joan Collings. See notes by Lorna Henderson at http://familytree.lornahen.com/p19571.htm
Which notes will be changed soon as I'm less doubtful now that I've found that the Nathaniel who witnessed the marriages of both Sarah and Honor, his sisters, AND is in Honor's household in the 1841 census , is highly likely to be their brother Henderson-2297 04:55, 10 September 2023 (UTC)
