John Davies was born in Wales.

John Davies was born about 1798.

John Davies might have married an Elizabeth Jones in 1822 in Nannerch, Flintshire. ^[1] Further research is needed to confirm this.

In 1841, John and his wife were residing in Ysceifiog. There were four children in the household. ^[2]

In 1851, John was seen with his wife and all five of his children. At the time he was employed as a miner. His eldest son, Edward, was also a miner. The family were living in Hawkin, Flintshire. ^[3]

In 1861, John was residing with his wife and youngest son, Joseph, in Ysceifiog, Flintshire. At the time, John was 64-years-old, and he was employed as a labourer. ^[4]

A previous note indicates that in 1868 John was still alive, as he was employed as a labourer. Source, unknown.

It is unknown when John Davies died.
