Biography

Elva Jane Wilcox was born on 24 Oct, 1901 at Arlington, Bennington County, Vermont, USA.^[1] She appeared on the census of 21 April 1910 in the household of her parents, Willie Ozial Wilcox and Addie Belle (Morey) Wilcox, at Sandgate, Bennington Co., Vermont.^[2] Elva is in the 1920 census twice, She was a knitter in a mill in 1920 when she appeared on the census of 9 Jan. 1920 in the household of her parents at Sandgate, Bennington Co., Vermont. ^[3] She appeared on the census of 13 Jan. 1920 in the household of her brother-in-law, William J. Crandall, and sister, Nina Irene, at Shaftsbury, Bennington County, Vermont. ^[4]

She married Edwin Parker Morrison (1895 - 1946).^[5]

She married G. Dewey Campbell. ^[5]

She lived in 1998 in Argyle, Washington County, New York. Elva died on 4 July 1999^[6] possibly in Washington County, and was buried at West Arlington Cemetery, West Arlington, Bennington County, Vermont. Her memorial has a photo of her headstone shared with Dewey, biographical material and links to those of family members. ^[5]
