Biography

Henry Watkins III was born in 1680 n Malvern Hill, Henrico, Virginia to parents Henry Watkins II and Mary Crispe. He died on 7 Feb 1714 in Henrico, Virginia.

The Watkins family were Quakers. "In 1692 Henry II deeded to each of his sons: Joseph and Edward 120 acres of land each on the south side of Chickahominy Swamp, and to his son, Henry Watkins Jr. the tract (acerate not given) of land on which Watkins the elder then lived."

any evidence he used III in his lifetime? It's possible, if his 1680 birth year is correct (his father died before Feb 1714/5 & his grandfather after that date, so he would've been a third adult Henry in the area at the time of his father's death).
