Christina was born on 17th February 1838 in St. Pancras, Middlesex, England. She was baptised on 3rd February 1839 at the Oxenden Presbyterian Church, Cambden. She was the daughter of John Veitch and Margaret Forrest.
Christina and her family emigrated to Australia aboard the ship Hebrides, arriving in Victoria on 27th October 1852. (see Father John Veitch profile for details) She was about 13 years old.
Christina married George Turner (abt.1830-1867) at the age of 23 in 1861, Victoria, Australia. They had 2 children: Georg James, 1862 and Amelia Ann, 1864.
Her husband George died in 1867.
On Christmas Day 1867, Christina now a widow, married James Hosking (abt.1814-1880), a widower (1814-1880) in Sandhurst (Bendigo) Victoria. They had 5 children: James 1872-1872, William James in 1873, John Charles 1876, Alice Maud Mary 1878, and Thomas Henry 1880.
Her second husband James appeared to have died about 1880 in Bendigo. We then see Christina has moved to moved to Kalgoorlie area of Western Australia around 1903. Her son Thomas Henry was also there.
Christina died in June 1912 aged 73. She is buried in the Kalgoorlie Cemetery, Kalgoorlie, Western Australia.

Regan near Kallaroo Crossing at 11 O'clock this day (Saturday June 22nd 1912) for interment in the Anglican portion of the Kalgoorlie Cemetery. Mannion & Cruse, Underdakers, Kalgoorlie and Boulder. Phones Nos 327 & 195 HOSKING - The friends of Mr and Mrs C. Hosking, Mr and Mrs T. Hosking, Mr and Mrs J. Marshall, Mr and Mrs J.
