Started doing genealogy around the beginning of 2019.
I am very specifically interested in 16th century Rijswijk (Zuid-Holland).
I can speak and write English and Dutch, don't be scared to contact me!
Rijswijk
Why did I choose Rijswijk? Because I think the name sounds nice.
My goal is to register and source every single person from Rijswijk (on WikiTree) from the 16th century and earlier before I die.
I started using WikiTree because I want to make all my research easily publicly accessible:D. I put sources for all my research in a way so you can always find where its from, and use links if I can so you can find the sources yourself online! I only don't use links for things with restricted acces (where you would need a subscription for something).
Projects
Some of my favorite researching projects! They are in no particular order. These profiles are basically entirely my own research:
The above mentioned profiles are not at all all the people I've researched and made profiles for. My guess for how many sourced profiles I've added for Rijswijk, with own research, would be about ~150 as of april 2022. I'm bad at counting tho, so it might be more or less.

Please provide at least a birth or death location estimate rather than leaving both locations blank. This helps disambiguate people since we have a global tree, locations help distinguish one profile of the same name from another. Even an estimate such as a continent, e.g., Europe or North America, is better than blank. Please read more here. Please explain the rationale for your estimate in a = = Research Notes = = section.
In the case of Pieterge, since she appears in the Netherlands court records, she likely was born in Europe.
